This is a stark statement but one that an increasing number of people passionately believe to be true. In the heat of the argument between Euro Federalists and Euro Sceptics that has raged for as long as most of us can remember, the passion of the Sceptic or Realist argument has often been caricatured as being extremist and unreasonable while the Federalists have sought to justify themselves with economic facts and figures.

Clegg knows best apparently Nick Clegg's speech for the "Scarman Lecture" gives a very revealing view of the way the Deputy PMs mind works. His speech was trailed as an assessment of the developments in the Race debate since the Brixton riots of 1981.
We will Remember Them
It was my great honour to be invited to lay a wreath at the war memorial in Dudley on Remembrance Sunday. It was one of the most moving and touching experiences of my life to be in the company of people who have served our country both in the past and the present to help remember their fallen comrades.

BBC Radio bringing debate to a new low
On the evening of Sunday 13th November, I was delighted to be an invited guest for a debate on BBC Radio 5 Live. The subject of the debate was poverty in the UK. It had been prompted by typically controversial comments by Edwina Currie who had claimed that she did not believe anyone was going hungry in this country.
Defy the mob to save our nation
The mob is nothing new. Riots and violent protests by groups motivated by sheer rage have been a feature of British and indeed world history for centuries.
